My Name is Khan Movie Review

Can not be denied if the September 11, 2001 had a major impact for the lives of Americans. This tragic event makes an existing gap between American citizens with immigrant Asian and Middle Eastern Muslims became more widely. Rizwan Khan (Shahrukh Khan) is one of the immigrants who are victims of the impact of these 911 events.

Rizwan is a young Muslim from India who suffer from Asperger's syndrome, a disorder that makes it difficult to interact with most people. Rizwan then decided to move to San Francisco, United States, to try his fortune in a country whose people say this is a dream land. In San Francisco is also Rizwan met Mandira (Kajol), a Hindu woman from India, who also lived there.

Despite opposition from both families, two young men decided to get married and start their own businesses. In the dream began to materialize, the tragic events of 11 September to destroy the dreams they were both beautiful. Mandira who could not bear called terrorists and this makes marriage Mandira Rizwan and messy end.

With the aim to retake the hearts of women, whom she loved it, Rizwan then take a big decision to travel around the United States. Arriving at LAX airport, Los Angeles, Rizwan officer arrested for behavior that is considered a little strange suspicious actions by the officers.

Hollywood saw the eyes of Pop. Experience that the audience would feel while watching Shahrukh Khan showing off his acting ability. Rarely is there a movie that can do this. It could be Karan Johar, the director, tried to borrow a trick that is used when working on Danny Boyle Slumdog Millionaire but that's not why because Karan presented in a way that is fresh.

Karan Johar capable of displaying a view of America from the immigrants from India and apparently that's the key to success Karan when creating this film. The issue presented is not a new issue. Discrimination, fear, love, kindness all mixed well by Karan in a 161-minute length movies this. Intervention Shahrukh Khan and Kajol would not be ignored because these two people can play brilliantly without the need to look excessive. Deserves a thumbs up. (Editing / rock)

The Wolfman Movie Review

Since the death of his mother, Lawrence Talbot (Benicio del Toro) decided to leave the house and away from the whole family. Many years later, something changed stance Lawrence. A haunting mystery that makes Lawrence's birthplace was forced to return to a place he never wanted to revisit it.

Gwen Conliffe (Emily Blunt), Lawrence's brother's fiancee, had found Lawrence and begged him to return to his hometown. Gwen wants to help her find her fiance Larence who disappeared without a trace. Although initial weight, Lawrence was eventually granted the request and return to Gwen's hometown.

Once there, Lawrence returned to meet Sir John Talbot (Anthony Hopkins), his father, and heard the news that their village was hit by the mysterious murder. Casualties at the hands of this sadistic killer and the citizen thinks that an ancient curse has returned to haunt their villages. That said, there is a group of people who could change shape into a wolf at full moon and seek prey in the surrounding woods they live.

Although virtually all the horror movies that category B movie into a movie aka 'cheap', but there are some movie makers are trying different ways to bring this genre to a higher level. Then came some real sub-genre of horror itself is a combination with a variety of genres (perhaps) with the aim of deleting image B movie itself.

Actually there is nothing wrong with the horror genre. SAW success by exploiting the torture while Friday the 13th won the hearts of teenagers with teen horror presented. If you want some serious, THE EXCORSIST probably the right choice. During the targeting right, no problem.

May depart from the same thought Joe Johnston tried to resurrect the old legends of the werewolf aka werewolf in this remake film. Unfortunately he also seems trapped in the making of this film out of his B movie. Joe tried to not follow the sub-existing genres and the various secret weapon he had been prepared but in the end still not clear what he wants to achieve through this film.

Chronology of the story was too complicated, although there are several sub-plots that try to enter. Games of the main cast is also quite good, although not exactly very bright. The result, in general this is not exactly a horror movie and more as a family drama that inserted a horror element. Not bad indeed. It's just not clear what he wants to achieve this with The Wolfman
